IC Rules

Rules for the stay in the mansion will be placed in every bedroom as well as outside the ballroom. They are easily accessible, should the characters wish to see them.

Rule 1:
All guests will be asked to live communally with no discernible time limit.

Rule 2:
Certain rooms have strict hours of operation that must be followed. The kitchens will be off-limits from 10PM each night until 7AM the next morning. Entering these areas is forbidden during these times.

Rule 3:
You may only sleep within the rooms designated for sleeping. This does not have to be your own, but keep in mind the roommates of everyone else. Otherwise, what you do in the bedroom is your business.

Rule 4:
Investigate the premises as you please-- although keep in mind that locked doors cannot be forced open.

Rule 5:
Vandalism is against the rules. For example, things such as attempting to break down doors, damage the facility or tamper with items within will not be tolerated and will be punished as necessary based on the offense.

Rule 6:
Violence against the hosts is not allowed. A severe punishment will follow should one try.

Rule 7:
For a certain amount of time only your hosts may know, you are asked to survive. However, there is a catch. We will place temptations before you. To obtain these temptations, one must commit the act of murder and, in a trial of their peers, get away with it.

To facilitate this, when a murder has been committed there will be an investigation by the guests present. After a short time, they will then proceed to the ballroom to discuss the evidence and try to find the culprit. Whomever is convicted will then be executed--guilty or innocent--and the guests may return to their daily lives afterward. There is no punishment for choosing wrong.

Rule 8: A murderer may only kill two victims at one time.

Rule 9: A successful murderer may not use their reward to break the game. No bringing back their victim(s) with a wish, for example.

Rule 10: New rules may be added at any time.

Violating the preceding edicts will result in punishment.
