Congratulations to all our Mock Week Participants.
We are looking forward to getting things kicked off next week. There are a few bits of information to leave you with first. For those who are unfamiliar with the murder game setting, a detailed timeline of how the week will progress is included.
The introductory log for arrival will go up on Sunday and will provide players with an opportunity to have their characters react to their new situation as well as give them an opportunity to speak with the NPCs who will be sharing the manor with them during their stay.
On Monday a weekly mingle will be posted for you all to do just that-- mingle. You will be able to post about your character's interactions for the week. At least until Friday.
Friday we will post the investigation; where the case begins. You will find your body (or bodies) and then collect all the necessary evidence to catch their murderer (or murderers)!
Saturday we will post the trial, where you will discuss the evidence you found and work to discover who the culprit is.
On Saturday evening or Sunday, an Afterparty will be held. Should none of the characters wish to host it, the NPCs will, but we will give you all the opportunity first.
Now. We mentioned that we are testing out
memory loss aspects during this Mock Week. Which means that during this week your character will be
regaining a memory. Along with the motive letter, on Tuesday your character will also receive an
item pertaining to a specific memory. It could be physical or it could be just a photograph. When they receive that item, they will regain the memory. As this is just a mock week, we are not asking you to submit memories. That allows you to have some freedom in choosing your memories once you have seen the motive.
The only thing we ask you do submit this time around is
profile information for your character. On Friday I will be posting an introduction post for you all to introduce yourselves and your characters. If you have any questions before then, please let either I or Ana know and we'll be glad to help.
